This policy describes the current public version of taotaomandarin.com, operated under the TaoTao Mandarin name.

Browsing and learning materials

This version serves web pages, lesson text, audio files, and downloadable practice sheets. Lesson search, filtering, transcript display, and playback controls run in your browser. The current learning interface does not send your search terms, practice-sheet answers, or recordings to us.

The downloadable worksheet is a blank file. If you fill it in or record your voice using a separate app, those files stay wherever you choose to save them; this website has no worksheet-upload or voice-recording form.

Hosting and technical requests

The website is published through OpenAI Sites and served using Cloudflare infrastructure. To deliver pages and protect the service, hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times. We have not independently confirmed the providers’ exact log-retention periods.

Cookies and analytics

The current site code does not add advertising tags, visitor analytics scripts, or its own tracking cookies. Infrastructure providers may use technical measures to operate and secure delivery. This statement does not describe cookies set by unrelated websites or browser extensions.

Contact by email

If you email yipingtao@gmail.com, your email address and the information you send will be processed through Gmail to read and respond to your message. Do not include passwords or sensitive personal information. We do not publish messages as testimonials without permission.

You may use that address to request deletion of correspondence we hold; we will explain any information we need to retain rather than promise deletion from providers’ independent systems.

Future third-party advertising

We plan to display third-party advertising in the future. No third-party advertising code is included in this release. Before enabling ads, we will update this policy to identify the providers, the data involved, and any choices or consent controls needed for the actual setup.

Children and family use

The current pages do not ask visitors for their age or provide a child-profile form. A parent or guardian should handle email contact for a child and avoid sending unnecessary information about them.
